New Chroma modules

EUDR

The new module “Chroma EUDR”, which will be available from November 2025 with Chroma Release 102, is designed to help companies implement the European regulation on deforestation‑free supply chains.

The module enables you to store reference and inspection numbers at goods receipt in Chroma MIS and to output them on documents (e.g. delivery notes and invoices) or as a CSV file. Future versions will include interfaces to platforms such as EU Traces and osapiens.

Android

The module Chroma BDE Mobile is the new Android‑based successor to the obsolete Chroma material logistics module, whose Microsoft support has been discontinued.

This change offers a more modern, robust and future‑proof solution with advantages such as regular security updates, better readability and performance, simplified management and the possibility for functional extensions (for example for EUDR).

The first version is now available and contains functions for material receipt, withdrawal, return and transfer. Further functions will follow.

The software is optimised for mobile computers such as the Datalogic Skorpio X5 and requires Chroma MIS Version 101 or higher.

E‑Invoice

The module Chroma E‑Invoice was introduced to meet the obligation to send invoices from 1  January 2026 in a structured electronic format (not simply PDF). The module is now available. Significant changes in Chroma were required for implementation.

An important point is that the functionality Factur‑X (a standardised e‑invoice format) does not support consolidated invoices (multiple orders on one invoice). This is due to the European semantic standard, which stipulates that an invoice must always relate to exactly one delivery and one order.

Prerequisite for use is an update to at least Chroma Release 102 and adjusted BIRT forms.
