MultiPress streamlines creative productions at Colorworks

Colorworks from The Hague is an all-round specialist in creative printing. They offer everything under one roof: from graphic design to printing and finishing. With their own design studio and an impressive machinery park, they create visually powerful custom work for, among others, hotels, restaurants and events. Colorworks is also active internationally, focusing on the hospitality sector in the Caribbean through Colorworks Caribbean.

Technology with a creative twist

The team works with high-end machines such as the Xerox Iridesse (for metallic effects in gold and silver), the Canon Colorado 1650 roll printer, a SwissQ Onyx flatbed printer and a Zünd cutting table. Remarkable is the wide range of finishing techniques, from traditional post-processing to wood processing and laser cutting using a Trotec laser. Thanks to this setup, Colorworks prints on various materials: paper, wood, plastic and more.

Sustainable and innovative

Sustainability is a deliberate choice at Colorworks. For instance, they use energy-efficient LED printers, environmentally friendly substrates and innovative solutions such as Teslin synthetic paper, a tear-resistant and moisture-resistant material. With this combination of technology and creativity, the company serves clients such as Hotel Des Indes, BizStay, Gallery61, and The Old Jazz.

Why MultiPress?

Previously, Colorworks worked with EFI PrintSmith, mainly because of compatibility with Mac. As the company grew, so did the need for a more professional management system. “We were looking for a total solution for estimation, planning and tracking, without having to have everything developed to measure ourselves,” the team says. The choice fell on MultiPress because of its scalability, its graphic focus and the ability to combine both creativity and structure in one powerful system.
