An MIS/ERP system is indispensable for grapic companies that want to manage estimating, production and planning professionally. However, the real added value only begins when machines are configured correctly in the system. Technical specifications such as formats, production speeds, substrate requirements and capacity limits are often scattered across brochures, websites and manuals. As a result, setting up machines can be time-consuming and error-prone.

With ParamCenter, Dataline brings structure to this process. The new platform centralises all technical machine data in one database, enabling print, sign and LFP companies to become operational more quickly and make better-informed investment decisions.

One central source for technical machine data

ParamCenter is a SaaS platform with an extensive library of production machines for the print industry. For each machine, more than 100 technical specifications are recorded, collected by our MultiPress specialists over the past 30 years. Instead of having to look up all the technical information yourself, you simply select the right machine and apply the relevant parameters. What used to take hours, or even days, can now be done in a matter of minutes.

Because all data is classified and managed consistently, you can use machines more easily for configuration, comparison and analysis.

Faster configuration of your MIS/ERP

ParamCenter was developed to make production machines easier to implement in MIS/ERP software. This lowers the barrier to getting started with a fully fledged MIS/ERP system and speeds up the complete configuration of your production environment. You only need to copy the parameters and add your own purchase and sales prices.

For print, sign and LFP companies implementing a new system, this means a faster start, less manual work and greater confidence that machines are configured correctly in the system.

More than a configuration database

ParamCenter not only saves time when setting up your MIS/ERP environment. The platform also makes it possible to compare machines on a technical level. This is particularly valuable for companies considering a new investment.

You want to compare objectively, without having to rely on sales brochures or scattered supplier documentation. ParamCenter makes that possible. It gives you faster insight into which machine best matches your production needs, capacity targets and growth plans.

Virtual machines can also be used

Another key advantage of ParamCenter is that you are not limited to the machines physically present in your production environment. You can also configure virtual machines in your MIS/ERP software.

This opens the door to detailed ROI calculations and what-if analyses… What if you invest in an additional digital press? What effect would that have on your capacity and profitability? What would it cost to produce a job in-house or outsource it to a subcontractor? In this way, ParamCenter becomes not only a configuration tool, but also a valuable aid for strategic decision-making.

What are the benefits for your company?

No other platform currently offers a comparable, standardised and curated database of production machines for the graphic industry. And that brings a number of clear benefits:

  • Machine data is always available
You no longer need to look up technical machine data manually across different sources.

  • Faster setup of your MIS/ERP
Parameters are available immediately, allowing implementation and configuration to proceed more smoothly.

  • Better machine comparison
You have an objective framework for comparing production machines on a technical level.

  • Smarter investment decisions
You base your ROI calculations and new investment decisions on real machine parameters.

ParamCenter finally makes machine data truly usable

ParamCenter is currently available as a standalone platform and, in a next phase, will integrate seamlessly with MultiPress, allowing machines to be imported directly from the library into your MIS/ERP environment. Other Print ERP applications can also make use of the API connection.

ParamCenter will be available from May 2026.
