DigiFlex: innovative software tools for estimating and managing label and flexible packaging production

The MIS component of DigiFlex is a modular, web-based production management system designed to streamline operations from quotation to delivery. Built for manufacturing environments, it focuses on core processes and offers a seamless workflow that integrates sales information, cost estimation, production planning, shop-floor control and inventory tracking into one intuitive interface. Its user-centric design enables rapid adoption and full operational readiness within just three months.

At the core of the software is a powerful estimation engine, enabling managers to convert sales data into production orders, allocate resources efficiently and adjust timelines based on real-time shop-floor feedback. The system supports dynamic cost calculation and traceability, helping label manufacturers to improve accuracy, reduce waste and optimise lead time.

Complementing the MIS software is DigiFlex BI, a ready-to-use business intelligence layer built on cloud technologies. It provides rich dashboards and reports tailored to the operational and strategic needs of manufacturers, highlighting key performance indicators, production bottlenecks and profitability trends. Bridging the gap between administrative workflows and the production floor, it also functions as MES software to monitor, control and document production activities – anywhere and in real time.

Together, the DigiFlex software modules form a closed-loop suite that drives data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the label and flexible packaging production lifecycle. Special emphasis is placed on fast implementation, with full operational readiness achieved within three months – which is significantly faster than traditional business software.

The software is the result of many years of development based and deep expertise in the label industry, already proven in collaboration with several medium to large European label manufacturers.

DigiFlex is a strategic fit for the Dataline portfolio

As part of Dataline’s strategic expansion across Europe, the DigiFlex software suite marks a key step in strengthening its position in the print manufacturing software market. The modular, cloud-ready platform aligns seamlessly with Dataline’s vision of providing agile, industry-specific tools that accelerate digital transformation for print production companies.

“This innovative technology delivers exactly the kind of intelligent, scalable and fast-to-implement solutions the European print industry is looking for,” says Dirk Deroo, CEO of Dataline. “Its strong manufacturing focus and proven ability to deliver operational results within just a few months fit perfectly with our mission to lead the market in smart print production management software.”
