MultiPress grows with LuxVisual

Luxembourg-based large-format company LuxVisual has been a Dataline customer for a while and is a great example of how MultiPress grows with the customer. Since they installed MultiPress, they have grown an average of 20% per year: thanks to MultiPress, they know exactly where they stand, which has played a huge role in that growth.

Innovation, technical expertise and customer satisfaction

LuxVisual was founded in 2004 and their activities are based on four pillars: technical expertise, printing, cutting and editing. They target a wide range of customers, including communication agencies, event agencies, communication and graphic professionals and government organisations in need of integrated marketing services.

LuxVisual is all about innovation, technical and technological renewal and, above all, customer satisfaction. They stand out for their innovative approach at all levels, from machines and print jobs to products and materials. They ensure tight production deadlines, guarantee the quality of their products and strive to meet customer requirements within a short time frame.

Island solutions? No thanks!

LuxVisual has been a MultiPress user since 2018. With them, we noticed a situation that we see quite often: the administration, prepress and production in the company were strung together with island solutions. The work order was actually the quotation with additional notes, the planning was arranged with Google Calendar and the quotations were calculated in Excel, after which this calculation was manually transferred to QuickBooks. This caused recognisable problems:

  • Data was entered twice everywhere, which increases the chance of errors.
  • The different solutions did not communicate with each other, which meant that employees sometimes had to work with outdated information
  • LuxVisual staff lost a lot of valuable time because they had to maintain these island solutions manually

These problems are not only frustrating, but also result in a costly expense. That is why LuxVisual came to Dataline.

MultiPress supports a dynamic workflow

Managing Director Julien Gottstein clearly indicated that LuxVisual was ready for a new way of working: the team has the ambition to link its administration, price calculation, prepress and production in the cloud. Working in the cloud is very important for him: this way, data is always up-to-date, available everywhere and can be quickly adapted. A fully automatic link with their accounting software Sage was also important: previously, the bookkeeper came to collect and type the invoices every ten days.

The LuxVisual team chose a number of modules and was supported by Dataline in their ambitions: only when the team had fully mastered the chosen modules, was there a transition to a further extension of MultiPress. This way LuxVisual tackled  the administration, prepress, production and invoicing in different phases. They can enjoy these advantages:

  • Unambiguous data and clear communication with customers and colleagues
  • Fully automated administrative workflow and streamlined production process
  • A fully automatic connection with accounting software Sage

Recently, LuxVisual started using MultiPress dashboards to always have a clear overview of their financial and production data and the Installation App to perfectly monitor every installation of their print work.. The management is eagerly looking forward to further useful applications of their MultiPress software.
