Dataline makes its Viscom Italia debut following the acquisition of VG7

25 August 2026

Milan, 15 September 2026 - Dataline will exhibit at Viscom Italia for the first time, presenting its specialised software portfolio for print, sign, large format, textile, labels and packaging at stand E23. Following its recent acquisition of Italian software company VG7, Viscom Italia marks Dataline’s first major opportunity to introduce both VG Seven and its wider portfolio to the Italian graphic industry.

Taking place on 28 and 29 October 2026 at Allianz MiCo in Milan, the event will give you the opportunity to discover how Dataline connects the path from incoming customer request to production order through specialised Print ERP, Web-to-Print and automation software. Rather than adding isolated tools, Dataline focuses on connecting estimating, online ordering, planning, production and administration while reducing manual intervention between processes.

One stand, four specialised software solutions

VG Seven, the cloud-native Print ERP developed by VG7, will have a prominent place on stand E23. The software solution combines strong e-commerce functionality with an intuitive user interface.

The recent acquisition of Italian software company VG7 provides the local foundation for this broader introduction. Dataline will continue developing VG Seven internationally while bringing its existing software expertise and portfolio to Italian print businesses.

Alongside VG Seven, Dataline will introduce three other dedicated solutions to the Italian market. MultiPress is Dataline’s comprehensive MIS/ERP platform for the print industry. Its latest generation, MultiPress 7.0 Cosmic, also introduces AI-supported functionality directly into the Print ERP environment.

Unik connects online ordering with the production workflow through a cloud-based Web-to-Print environment, while DigiFlex was developed specifically for narrow-web production and combines MIS and BI/MES functionality for labels and flexible packaging.

These solutions allow Dataline’s specialists to demonstrate how information can flow more automatically from the first customer request through to production, reducing manual steps between commercial, administrative and production processes.

AI functionality and real commercial advantages

Visitors will also be able to explore several AI applications developed around concrete workflow challenges. EstimAIte analyses incoming quotation requests and identifies relevant parameters to help users start calculations more quickly. PlanmAIte analyses changing production schedules to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for better coordination between jobs, machines and deadlines.

FlowmAIte extends workflow automation to unstructured information such as emails, notes, instructions and confirmations by interpreting that input and converting it into specific actions. The solution received the EDP Award 2026 for Best Technical Workflow Solution.

Dataline will also demonstrate EcoPrint Score, winner of the EDP Award 2026 for Best MIS Solution. EcoPrint Score automatically calculates the CO2 emissions associated with a print job and presents the result through a clear visual label, helping print businesses turn sustainability data into a more tangible part of customer conversations.

ParamCenter addresses another fundamental requirement of Print ERP environments: reliable technical machine information. The platform brings machine specifications together in a central library, supporting companies when configuring software environments and comparing production equipment.
