Colorisprint boosts customer support with B2B Portal from MultiPress

Colorisprint has been known since 1998 as a full-service digital print business for major customers such as Gruyère, Aveve or Passoa. To this end, they continuously invest in their machinery and rely on a motivated team of 20 employees. Their administration is supported by a powerful business software: MultiPress. And recently the support to their customers has been extended by integrating the B2B Portal into their MultiPress configuration.

Belgian print business takes care of the entire digital product

Digital print business Colorisprint, founded in 1998 with an Agfa Chromapress, has evolved to produce larger formats with the Oce Colorado 1640, a flat-bed printer from Canon. With a team of 20 employees, Colorisprint specializes in print jobs for retailers, agencies and studios. Their assortment includes a wide range of print products: from brochures, business cards, displays, umbrellas to roll-ups. In addition, they also handle the finishing process in-house: from plasticizing, paperback, cardboard spine, to strip binding. In short, Colorisprint takes care of the entire printed product.

Need for a software for a digital print business

Originally, the administration was followed up with File Maker Pro, but this program did not evolve with their internal operations. Therefore, it was decided to change business software. First of all for their quotations, in order to ease the administrative work. But above all, Colorisprint was looking for a specialised software suited for a digital print business. And so the implementation of MultiPress followed in 2007. This led to them being able to go much further in the daily management of their business, sales and price quotes, which was lacking in their previous software. Invoicing now consists of only a few clicks in MultiPress, after which invoices are immediately exported to their accounting program. This way, Colorisprint saves a lot of time and money with MultiPress: no more invoices need to be coded. Everything is booked immediately, making the accounting process run smoothly.

New expansion: B2B Portal

In 2021, Colorisprint added a couple of key features to their MultiPress setup. First of all, a cloud license was activated to allow them to consult customer information online. In addition, the B2B Portal was implemented to better manage the file approval process. Previously, PDF files were sent via email to the customer. By working through the B2B Portal in MultiPress, the entire approval flow can be managed within the MultiPress environment.

The B2B online customer portal allows Colorisprint's B2B customers to securely manage and control quotations, orders, individual item data and orders. Customers automatically receive notification via email if files need to be approved for print jobs. Placing and following up orders and viewing delivery notes and invoices can also be done within the B2B Portal. In this way, the customer always remains informed about the latest status of each order. Thanks to the B2B Portal in MultiPress, communication with Colorisprint's customers and suppliers now runs much faster. Moreover, with the B2B online customer portal Colorisprint can save a lot of time and costs when processing orders and avoid errors.
