Drukkerij Jubels
Drukkerij Jubels: for more than a century progressive in print
What began as a family business grew over four generations into a versatile print partner for creatives, cultural institutions, brands and retailers. Today, Jubels combines its rich tradition of craftsmanship with the latest technologies, offering its clients not just high‑quality print, but also complete solutions for production and logistics.
A printing house in Amsterdam with more than a century of craftsmanship
Since 1902, Jubels has been a fixture in the Amsterdam graphic world. Over four generations the family print shop has grown alongside the changing needs of creative agencies, cultural institutions, brands and retailers. From their modern location in Amsterdam‑North the team combines traditional craft with the latest technologies, so clients can always rely on high‑quality print and a personal approach.
Jubels masters a full spectrum of printing techniques: digital printing for short lead times and small runs; offset printing for high volumes with consistent quality; and large format print for displays and XXL applications.
Anyone entering Jubels notices their broad offering: from digital and offset print to luxury books, art catalogues, personalised direct mail and large format displays. It is not just about print, but about complete solutions. With special finishes such as foil print, embossing or glow‑in‑the‑dark inks they bring projects truly to life.
In addition, Jubels offers fulfilment and warehousing, so that even the logistics for clients—from stock management to shipping—can be fully taken care of.
Drukkerij Jubels works centrally from MultiPress
With a team of 11 employees Jubels processes about 180 orders monthly. Those orders range from digital short‑run productions to high volume offset work and large format prints for retail and trade‑fair applications. Whereas formerly different systems ran alongside one another, MultiPress now forms the backbone of the entire production.
Each order begins with a calculation in MultiPress and is then passed straight on to planning and production. For offset and digital print the paper, formats and run sizes are automatically translated into the correct production settings. Large‑format jobs—think displays, posters or XXL panels—enter the planning via the same workflow, so that operators have immediate visibility of capacity and delivery times. Even the intermediary assignments, where Jubels acts as the link between client and supplier, are managed and followed up in MultiPress.
Expedition is fully integrated: once an order is ready, MultiPress generates the shipping labels and the delivery is scheduled. Even the often hectic on‑call orders are thus placed in the planning without error.
Finally they mention the API connector to their web-to-print environment: online orders from clients flow automatically into MultiPress, receive a calculation immediately and proceed to production and expedition. In this way Jubels retains full oversight of ongoing orders, machine occupancy and the logistical route to the customer with a single system.
