Fine art and large format printer Imprimeverde chooses clarity with MultiPress

Imprimeverde combines craftsmanship with visual finesse, but ran into the limits of Excel, manual job tickets, and fragmented planning. With MultiPress, they professionalized their entire flow, from quotation to installation, without losing their creative strengths.

Craftsmanship in large format and fine art

Imprimeverde is a creative large-format printing company. Its team of 15 employees combines technical expertise with a strong passion for imagery, design, and sustainability. Production is divided into three main activities: roll printing, flatbed printing, and a separate fine art department with pigment inks for high-quality art reproductions. Imprimeverde works with equipment including HP Latex R2000, Epson P9000 and P20000 plotters with Ultrachrome HDX inks, Summa cutting solutions, and Zünd finishing systems. For their fine art applications, they use exclusive substrates from Hahnemühle, Canson, and Ilford, among others.

They produce visually strong prints for photographers, illustrators, designers, museums, cultural festivals, and schools. Their contributions include projects for Colexio Andersen, a creative school environment connecting art and education; Festival Creativa and Galicia Design Weekend, two leading events on design and visual culture; the Mayrit Bienal, an international design biennial in Madrid; and the Agrupación Fotográfica Galega, a photographers' collective that merges art and craftsmanship.

One solution for quoting, planning, and tracking

Until recently, the team worked without an integrated system. Calculations were done in Excel, job tickets were created manually, and there was no central planning tool. For a company processing an average of 166 jobs per month, 85% of which require a quote beforehand, this resulted in high workload and lack of oversight. With MultiPress, Imprimeverde finally found a MIS/ERP system that meets the needs of a large format printing company.

The decision for MultiPress was primarily driven by the need for speed and stability in quotation creation. Thanks to integrated calculation modules and automatic conversion into job tickets, the team saves a lot of time and reduces the risk of errors.

Growth also calls for more control over assembly and installation. For Imprimeverde, which increasingly installs on-site for clients, the MultiPress Installation App provided the ideal solution. With this user-friendly smartphone app, installation teams can record work hours, consult instructions, add photos, and have tasks digitally approved. All in real time, directly linked to the correct project. This reduces paperwork, speeds up communication, and improves remote tracking.

Responding concretely to customers’ sustainability concerns

More and more of Imprimeverde’s clients, such as governments and companies with sustainability policies, actively ask about the environmental impact of their print work. The MultiPress CO₂ Suite now provides a concrete answer. For every quote or order, the ecological footprint is automatically calculated, including alternatives and optimizations.

The visual Ecoprint Score gives clients a clear insight into the CO₂ impact of their choices. At the same time, the system helps improve internal sustainability, for example through more efficient material use or smarter workflows. In this way, Imprimeverde actively contributes to a greener graphic sector, while maintaining quality and service.

From 10 to 5 days: faster from quote to delivery

With just one administrative profile among 15 employees, the need for automation was urgent. Thanks to MultiPress, the processing time for orders was halved: from 10 to 5 days. The company also sees a direct profitability increase of over €3,500 per year, excluding time savings.
