Screendruk Art does away with Filemaker
Screendruk Art from Tilburg is a specialist in screen printing, signage, and custom printing. With a broad range of machinery and a focus on quality, the company serves a diverse clientele. Thanks to MultiPress, Screendruk Art now brings more structure to its processes and lays the foundation for further automation and digital growth.
Screendruk Art streamlines production and administration with MultiPress
Screendruk Art from Tilburg has long been an established name in the world of screen printing, signage, and printing. As a specialist in large-format and custom work, the company produces, among other things, posters, window stickers, canvas prints, and screen printing applications such as parasols and awnings. With a modern machinery fleet, including the brand-new SwissQprint Nyala 4, an Epson 10-color printer, Zünd G3 cutting table, and multiple screen printing lines, Screendruk Art provides a wide range of print solutions for both indoor and outdoor use.
Their clients include shopping centres, school networks, and holiday parks such as Efteling Loonsche Land.
From separate software tools built around Filemaker to a single integrated solution tailored for signage and large-format companies
Before switching to MultiPress, Screendruk Art worked with a self-developed software solution built with Filemaker. That application included CRM, order management, and invoicing, but was not integrated with planning or accounting. Planning was done in a calendar software, and orders were not linked to invoicing or accounting software Accountview.
This working method provided too little control and scalability, especially for recurring projects with price variations or an increasing number of orders. With an average of 240 jobs per month, the need for a fully integrated system grew.
Serge Verdaasdonk, director at Screendruk Art, is enthusiastic about the implementation process: "Dataline was the perfect partner for us. We were able to easily convert our old system to the current Dataline system. And whenever we want an expansion, there are always immediate answers about which module might fit."
One system for all techniques in signage and large-format printing
In the past, Screendruk Art also used a separate tool to make their screen printing calculations. Although this tool worked, it was an isolated system outside their administration. As a result, they had to manually transfer prices into quotations, which led to duplicate work and a lack of clarity in project follow-up.
They soon realised how much easier and more accurate it was to calculate screen printing jobs directly in MultiPress, without external tools or manual steps. Since then, they have processed all their printing techniques, screen, digital, offset, and finishing, in a single central system. This integrated approach ensures a clear, consistent workflow and significantly speeds up and clarifies their administrative processes.
MultiPress as the foundation for further growth
With the implementation of MultiPress, Screendruk Art now centralises all business processes in one platform: from calculation and order processing to planning, production, and invoicing. Moreover, the integration with Accountview puts an end to duplication and improves transparency towards customers and partners: "The added value is that we truly have control over daily operations. We see what’s happening, what's in production and what still needs to be scheduled. We know who is working on what, and we also know what’s coming in the future."
Additionally, MultiPress offers a solid foundation for future ambitions, such as workflow automation and e-commerce integration. By investing in an ERP system specifically developed for graphic production companies, Screendruk Art can continue to combine flexibility and customer focus with a structured, scalable approach.
Serge Verdaasdonk already sees the benefits of working with MultiPress: "I am convinced that we need MultiPress to truly sustain our current growth. It is not just about creating a beautiful end product, but also about gaining and maintaining control over your processes. MultiPress helps us do that and encourages us to structurally build the organisation."

Company details
Screen printing has been their "Art" for more than 50 years. In 1966, Paul Verdaasdonk started his own screen printing business for printing advertisements. And the company run by his sons Serge and Egon is still one of the few in the Netherlands that continues to do so. In any desired format and at the highest level.
