Price indexing

Dear customer,

We value your trust in our company and continue to invest in the best service for our customers. We work hard to make your administration and production as smooth and error-free as possible, today and tomorrow.

However, these are challenging times for the business world, and Dataline does not escape this economic reality:

  • The sharply increased energy and fuel prices make Dataline's daily business activities up to five times more expensive than usual. Because we guarantee the quality of our service, it is business as usual at Dataline, regardless of price: we are there for you, we visit our customers and we continue to improve our software solutions for all our customers across Europe.
  • Continued wage growth and indexation requires Dataline to make an additional investment. As an innovative fast-growing company and major employer in the European IT market, we remain committed to our human capital. We always want to pay all our employees correctly for their specific expertise. Moreover, we are continuously expanding our team with highly skilled experts to strengthen our development, project implementation and support.
  • The cost of the software infrastructure has also increased dramatically. In line with the service agreements we enter into with our customers, we cannot possibly take risks that could affect the security and continuity of our customers' daily operations.

The combination of these factors weighs heavily on business. Therefore, even at Dataline, we are forced to make a balanced but necessary price adjustment so that we can continue to guarantee the service your business needs.

Dataline Solutions indexes its prices based on the harmonised inflation (HICP). This indexation applies to all our clients in Europe.

We will outline below why we made this decision and what this means for our clients.

Why indexing?

The purpose of adjusting the index is that our prices should always represent the same purchasing power compared to the same period last year.

Dataline opts for the HICP index for all its customers in Europe.

The advantage of indexing prices with the HICP is that it provides an objective and widely recognised benchmark for inflation. The HICP measures the average price change of a selection of goods and services purchased by households in the eurozone, thereby offering a representative picture of overall price developments.

This allows companies to adjust prices fairly and transparently to reflect actual inflation. It helps protect consumers’ purchasing power and ensures that businesses can cover rising input costs without incurring losses.

Additionally, it provides certainty for customers, as price increases are linked to a reliable and recognised index, preventing unexpected or unreasonable price hikes.
